Typical results of cross correlation measurements. The cross power spectral density and cross phases are calculated from two signals of vertically separated mixer channels. The wavenumbers are calculated from the cross phases and the channel spacing. Two modes are distinguished: the low frequency mode is the MHD mode, and the high frequency mode is the turbulent mode.
